The officer-in-charge Collectorate has handed over the investigation of the case to Additional District Magistrate Justice Mohammad Moinul Ismail.

The tenure of former Nagar Panchayat President Vipan Kumar ended on January 3, 2023. Thereafter, salaries were not released to the outsourced employees. Outsourced reached the Nagar Panchayat office on this. TC Harendra Singh and Outsourced Employees Office Assistant Ajay Shukla told Lalit Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Pooja and Shankar Lal etc. that their names are not in the verified new list of outsourced employees. The outsourced employees started arguing over this. The employees complained about the matter to the DM on March 6.

When the SDM reached to investigate, it was found that the outsourced employees did not have any attendance register in the Nagar Panchayat office. When the SDM talked to the outsourced employees, they told the SDM that they have been working in the Nagar Panchayat continuously for the last five years. They are not being paid salary for the last three months. The employees have written a letter to the DM and appealed to get the matter investigated.
